Electrical Audits

An electrical audit of your energy use can reveal many areas where you can save energy. We recommend doing an audit because most homes, offices and retail spaces can easily make some changes in lighting or appliance loads that will lead to big savings in annual electrical use.

A typical audit involves an on site review of all your electrical equipment and loads. In addition to the electrical service equipment, this will include fixed appliances, heating and cooling systems, pumps, motors, lighting, and plug in appliance loads.

If necessary, we will install watt hour meters to calculate the actual consumption of certain plug in loads and identify energy “bandits” 

Based on the audit results we will provide a written report and recommend changes that will lower your monthly electrical bill. Some of these recommendations may include appliance upgrades, use of power strips, improved lighting systems, installation of high efficiency motors, etc.  Implementation of these recommendations will reduce your energy consumption and save you money.
